I have been struggling for a long time with trying to get pages done; from the layout to the pictures placed and from the title to the journaling. I turned to the Workshop on the Go kits offered by Close to My Heart. For only $29.95, you get a Level 2 paperpack, a special stamp set and some embellishments. With these supplies and a few extra things, you can complete two 2-page layouts and a bonus project. I took my daughter to a local copy shop that has room for scrapbooking and was able to get one 2-page layout from the kit "Lucy" done. I'm not a big pink person but I fell in love with this set.

Springtime is in the air.
Happy Spring Everyone!
Right now, it looks like I have just one follower, so I guess the everyone is kinda silly really! :)
I am hoping to post on thing every day to get me motivated to scrapbook. The layout that I have posted was done for a swap that I was in. I fell a little behind on getting prepared so I submitted it without places for pictures, then siilly me, left it in the car and it fell apart so now I just have the GREAT picture.
I used the L2 paperpack Footloose, the stampset My Peeps and the new adhesive springs, which I love! I used Sweet Leaf and Creme Brulee ink.
Thanks for looking.

My Passion
Today is a GREAT Sunday to spend with your family here in Michigan; 70 degrees in March doesn't happen very often but I will take it. While I was cleaning out my car, my 3 year old daughter was outside playing with her toys and I took this picture of her. This is my passion for scrapbooking! She isn't very photogenic but I love catching any of her moments. I am really hoping to get her years caught up, even though I'm only 3 years behind.
Thanks for being part of my new adventures in the blogging world.

*DISCLAIMER* Typically my daughter doesn't look like a hooligan but I love her anyway. :)

Baby Food Festival
Izabella and I went to the Baby Food Festival in July 2011 and it was awesome. Of course, mommy had her camera in hand to be able to scrapbook this fabulous memory. This was the first time for Izabella to go on any "thrill rides" and she loved it. I can't wait for it to come to town again.
The layout above was created with all Close to My Heart products. I was inspired by a layout in the Reflections how-to program; although I can't remember what layout it was. The letters and shapes were cut out using the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge and the paper pack is Caboodle which is now retired.
